Why Policy Lens exists

Public information should not require knowing the government's filing system.

Colorado's rules, statutes, policies, opinions, manuals, meeting records, and guidance are spread across separate websites, databases, PDFs, and archives. Policy Lens brings those discovery paths together so a person can begin with a real question and finish at the official source.

The index is designed to expand across Colorado while keeping authorities distinct: current rules are not confused with proposals, state policy is not confused with county policy, persuasive opinions are labeled, and changing live records remain with the system that owns them.
